Half day introductory online courses (for up to 14 participants)

Course aims:

To explore and understand the relationship between stress, emotional resilience and mental health.

To increase awareness of stress and identify sources of support.

To increase knowledge and understanding of common mental health conditions.

To assess our own resilience traits
-
To introduce the keys to resilience – the knowledge, behaviours and skills which can enhance our resilience.

To identify practical steps we can take to build personal resilience in the workplace.

To develop understanding of how colleagues and managers can support individuals’ resilience
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course you will:

Have a greater understanding of stress and its impact on our wellbeing

Have explored your own levels of stress and resilience resources

Have enhanced understanding of ways/ how to build resilience

Be better able to recognise when further help and support may be required.

Have some practical tools for managing stress, anxiety and low mood, and for promoting positive wellbeing to help build resilience.

Have guidance and advice for how we may connect with others who may be experiencing symptoms of stress.
Training methods:
Audio/ visual presentation; videos; pairs work; live case studies and experiential discussion/ chat room contributions; Q&A.
